Bora-Bora -day 2

Yes, we overnighted here and Bora-Bora anchored in the beautiful lagoon. The nice rocking of the ship made for good sleeping.

I woke up fairly early this morning and had some coffee and then I went up to my favorite little café in the front of the ship and had some more coffee and a few of the tiny sandwiches that they serve there.

I went back to the cabin to collect my stuff for the day as I was going to go over to the little town where we tender. I needed to hit up an ATM. And also do a little shopping.

It was brutally hot today despite having Guzzled Two bottles of water, I was still parched. I made my way to a little café on the main road and sat down in the shade and had a nice cold drink.

I was glad I came ashore as I was able to find a couple of more gifts that I needed.   Thoroughly hot and sweaty I made my way back to the tender and then back to the ship.

We were supposed to have some huge dinner party on the Motu here at Bora-Bora, complete with traditional fire dancers, however the rain ruined our plans. They ended up hauling all the stuff back over to the ship and we were served instead in the buffet area. The food again was really good—- much much variety and the best thing rice pudding with coconut milk oh my God!!!!

Nothing much new to report today no beautiful pictures or anything. But I did have to spend time getting some new arrangements made and I’ll tell you about that in a future post—— stay tuned!!!!!

The water sport platform is open today!!!! (From deck 7)

We are currently sailing toward Huahine for our final port before return to Papeete!  I love going to sleep when the ship is sailing. I do some of my best sleeping then!
