Family: Everyone is well and the holidays were a bit different this year as I missed Christmas night at my parents' place because I was out of town.
Feenix: (In keeping with the F theme) I flew there for a very quick visit over Christmas. Friday to Monday night.
Fago deChao: YUM But I don't think I would do it again. It's very expensive and I don't feel like I was able to consume $50+ dollars worth of food.
Flight: Summary of the experience in a few words: Don't fly out of Reagan Airport, Don't assume you will be able to sleep on a redeye despite being in business and partaking in several adult beverages.
Fatigue: Extreme fatigue and when I arrived back in PA, I faceplanted onto the bed for a good 18 hours.
Flu: Of course, I got the flu!. I was a mess. For 3 days, I did nothing but sleep and ache. It was probably a good 2 weeks before I felt 'recovered'.
Fate: In what I am choosing to believe is a sign from God or Fate or something, the Cruise Line CANCELLED my Australia cruise! Just the sailing I was on--none before or after. So I did not rebook and will look at this area again in another year or two.
Florida: I did manage to go to my place down there to have the popcorn ceilings removed. OMG what a mess that was. But it's finished now and just needs paint!
Blah--unparalled ugliness-----------------Now gone
Freezing: And just so you know, Florida was freezing cold! I know? At one point I was lamenting that I did not bring a heavy coat.
Fast Forward: I made other vacation plans. Yes, I will be cruising the Eastern Caribbean the beginning of April. happy happy joy joy
Football: I am NOT a sports lover, one bit but I have to say--Go Eagles!!! The dog masks won me over!
