Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes............................

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Ooh, look out you rock 'n' rollers
Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes
Turn and face the strange
Ch-ch-changes
Pretty soon now you're gonna get older
Time may change me
But I can't trace time
I said that time may change me
But I can't trace time

Greetings from sunny Florida, where every day seems like a holiday! Before I head out to the beach today, I'd thought I would update you on the latest changes in my travel plans............Yes, ch-ch-ch-ch-changes.

I've cancelled the Australia cruise for this fall. Why, you may ask? Well, I was going about my business one day and stumbled upon an Email stating Princess Cruises had opened up reservations for Fall 2020 AND this included four or five, 10 day cruises around Tahiti!!! OMG, I immediately went to their website and checked it out. Sure enough, my favorite ship--the Pacific Princess is being put back into "that water" for a limited time.

I immediately put a deposit on the same room I had back in 2015! I was walking on a cloud for a couple of days until reality set in. Because I am not independently wealthy, I realized I had to make a choice---Australia or Tahiti. And Tahiti won easily.

And, in case you all forgot...........................................
That water.......................

Not that I don't want to visit Australia and all of those beautiful islands on the way there, I do. It's just that given the limited amount of PTO I have, even taking time without pay still tied up almost all of my PTO for this year and I was stressing about it a bit. Ok a lot. I decided that a vacation of that length would be better when I am no longer working.

A few days ago, I sat down with my phone and computer and undid all those plans. I did lose a few hundred dollars but, that's life and I knew that would happen.  The miles and points are all back in their accounts, refunds have been made on prepaid shore excursion and the cruise deposit was also refunded. So, I'm back to square one.

A GREAT thing may also happen..............I may FINALLY get to sail on the same cruise as fellow blogger and friend, Pescado Amarillo!  YAY!!!! I know she and G have deposited this cruise and I hope their plans stay in place.  Her blog inspired me when I began researching Tahiti all those years ago!
Here is a link to her blog:  http://pescadoamarillo.blogspot.com/

I feel so much better now that I have more PTO and more time to save so I can do everything I want to do in 2020!  I am definitely staying in Tahiti before and after the cruise! I hope to carry over a week of paid time off to help with days off in 2020!

And I will probably do a week long vacation in the late fall (I got a casino offer I am having a hard time saying NO to!)

If you are interested in joining the fun, leave me a comment or send me an Email. As you know, I am also a travel agent with the Cruise Brothers!

I've been watching these cruise since I deposited and the prices are doing nothing but go up. I have a feeling most sailings will sell out. The Pacific Princess used to do nothing but sail Tahiti on 10 day cruises, but after 2015, all that changed. This is the first time she will return to multiple 10 days cruises!

Now, it's time for me to get ready to go to the beach. Life is very good and I remember to give thanks every single day for all the blessings in my life.
